This is a glorified test post. Basically, my day job has me writing sarcastic copy about celebrities on two sites. These days it’s mostly SocialiteLife.com and sometimes also on Celebuzz.com.
When I first moved out to Los Angeles to pursue a career in writing in TV and film, I started with a series of simple, and fairly attainable goals.
First, I wanted to be financially independent from my mother, who was supporting me when I first moved out here. Then, I wanted a job at a major studio, however low on the totem pole. From there, I decided I wanted a job where I had my own computer, creeping along with each small goal under my belt until I finally had reached the milestone of being paid to write.
Now, I’m writing every day—churning out an average of about 15 (give or take 5) posts a day. I spend my workday making fun of Lindsay Lohan’s freckles, Paris Hilton’s indiscretions, rooting for Britney Spears’ comeback and making sure to do it all in quick, witty succession.
It’s a great day job for what I’m trying to do, but I felt that I needed to start writing for the purpose of writing. This site is not about clicks, link-backs, link-love, search engine optimization or impressive high resolution photos that collectively comprise the most comprehensive photo gallery of Sienna Miller’s topless antics with Balthazar Getty.
This is the depository of my most random thoughts, creative projects and hopes for the future. And porn. There will be lots of porn.
OK, maybe I was lying about the porn, but please do come back. I promise to try and keep it interesting.
Welcome to my site!
