I have two of these ergonomic keyboards: one for my computer at home, and one for my laptop at work. For some reason, I have the shortcut keys for CTRL, ALT and the Apple keys assigned to different keys on the work keyboard vs. the one at home.
Because of this, I keep accidentally not copying and pasting text by using the wrong shortcut key, effectively creating one or two extra steps along the way.
But I feel obligated to leave it that way because I feel like remembering which is which is a good memory exercise for my otherwise growing-more-addled-by-the-minute brain.
I’m pretty sure me writing about this means that it’s about time to take a break and eat some lunch.
