The Office Holiday Party

Today is our office holiday party and I can’t believe that it’s already been a year since the last one. Time flies when you’re blogging about some of the most overpaid individuals on the planet.

And I know this is such a cliché to say (and an even bigger one to point out that I realize it’s a cliché), but I really don’t understand how a year flew by so quickly. I wonder how many blog posts I’ve written since these pictures were taken. I wonder not only how many posts, but how many words I typed using my trusty ergonomic keyboard.

What are the running totals for my use of the words: “reportedly,” “allegedly,” “seriously,” and “whore” in 2008? How many Arrested Development references did I manage to squeeze into a year’s worth of celebrity gossip and musings? These are, of course, all questions that a person less lazy than myself would be inclined to answer.

As for the party, last year, we walked down Sunset to a sushi restaurant and engaged in karaoke and gossip. All I’m ever hoping for is some more of the aforementioned gossip and free food. I’m easy like that.
