Originally, our office party was scheduled to take place at the karaoke sushi bar where it was held last year. However a last-minute change had us heading up the street to a piano bar, where we were regaled with songs by an assortment of musicians which included a pianist, jazz flautist, a trombone player and whoever was forced to get up and sing.
Like a child who gets more excited about the cardboard box rather than the expensive gift contained inside, I immediately became fascinated with the strange mural painted on the side of the bar wall so much so that my interest in the music completely fell by the wayside.
As a result, I went on a picture-taking spree with my photogenic co-workers.
